More Proof
Surprisingly, some free product solicitation offers are not rip-offs, and can land you a slew of free stuff... you can eventually load up on cool tech goodies including iPods, digital cameras and flat-screen TVs.
The promise of getting a free iPod from FreeiPods.com looks extremely dubious. But surprisingly, the site appears to be legitimate. It's a new form of online marketing supported by companies like eBay, AOL and Columbia House.
The Giveaway site "buys pricey products like iPods and gives them away. To receive the iPod, participants are asked to sign up for one of about 10 different offers and to persuade five others to do the same. They have developed similar programs giving out $700 desktop computers, $800 flat-screen televisions and high-end designer handbags.
this is not a scam. You can get a free iPod from Gratis Networks. It may not be entirely free, as you have to spend time and, in some cases, money on special offers.
Anyway, if you've got five friends you can convince to do this who also think they each have five friends they can convince to do this, you might just find yourself just maybe getting a free iPod.
